I had been after one of these for a while, and now I have one, in it's original box as well, the console is in immaculate condition, the box not so much though
I will be testing it soon, most likely with the Ferguson 3840 portable black and white TV
Testing accomplished
The box is in so-so condition
I do have the instruction book though
The unit itself looks like other Grandstand models
The base of the unit, with model label
Here is a blanked off socket, probably for the rifle controller on other models
The rear of the unit with RF lead and power socket
The controllers are removable, but not detachable
Another Grandstand PSU, I have two now
The unit does not work, it just gives a blank screen, it's acting like the Grandstand cartridge when no cartridge is installed, this may be a loose ROM or other component, there is something rattling around in the case which I need to investigate
Donated console
I was donated another Grandstand 6000 console
The console has faded somewhat compared to the one above, although some details are different. I was assured this one works but I haven't plugged it in yet
The console with the controllers in and out of the base
Game options with manual score counters and controller
Base of the console with the battery compartment and model label
Model label
The rear of the console showing the external power socket
From the sides
Blanked off socket
