The Sega Mega Drive, aka the Sega Genesis. Sega's answer to the Super Nintendo, this one was recently donated to me along with the Game Gear
You could run Master System games on the Mega Drive using the Power Base converter. And later there were expansions available including the Mega CD (Sega CD) and 32X
Not much more to say about this other than it has "BLAST PROCESSING"
The top of the machine has the cartridge slot, which is protected by a spring loaded cover, the power switch, reset button, volume control for the headphones, and a power LED
The front has two controller ports and a headphone socket, and the rear has RF out, A/V out, and power in, the Mega Drive power adaptor is the same as the Master System power adaptor. Also the only way to get stereo sound out from the console was through the headphone socket, the A/V output socket only carried mono sound, however it was possible to make a custom cable which plugged into the A/V and headphone sockets together.

I have acquired six three button controllers, although one has a broken cable. A six button controller was available later
In case you're wondering, the modern LCD TV needs to be completely retuned each time I connect a different console via RF, It refuses to manually tune anything in! This means an anxious wait to see if the console is working

I spotted someone selling this on FB Marketplace, it was just the console only, with no leads, controllers, or games
A bit grubby, but not damaged although the expansion connector cover is missing
It was cheap enough, so all good
