This page has been a long time coming, mainly because my original SNES died some time ago, and then got dropped by accident breaking the rear of the case.
But I've recently got hold of a replacement SNES console, it was listed as working perfectly, but it had strange markings on the case, which the seller didn't know what they were.
Fortunately I can recognize a failed Retrobright attempt from twenty paces, but the console does work perfectly, and it was cheap enough for me not to worry about it.
However, I may pick up a non-working SNES in the future and swap the cases over
The top of the console has the cartridge slot which is behind a spring loaded door, a toggle power switch with LED, a reset button, and a eject button, this is just a lever that lifts the cartridge up. On the bottom behind a cover is an expansion port. Most notably for the cancelled SNES-CD, which became the PlayStation
The front just has proprietary controller ports, while the rear ports are Multi Out, RF Out, and AC Adaptor, it uses the same AC adaptor as the NES
The sides are plain
The original SNES came with these 3rd party controllers, they both work, but one has a broken screw mount

This is the software that came with my original SNES. Note I have the Super Scope cartridge, but not the Super Scope
